The Ovation Engineering EZ-Remote Tool Compensation Interface allows the user to manually change CNC Tool wear offsets without accessing the CNC operator panel. This can now be done from a remote location such as outside of an automated work cell containing robotics. This eliminates unnecessary downtime that may result from shutting down automation in order to safely enter the cell.

The system is capable of sending offset data to up to 20 tool wear offsets, or 20 macro variables.

Each of the 20 EZ-Remote Channels can be set up to send offset data to a specific wear offset location (i.e. X or Z, Head 1 or Head 2). When configured for macro variables, data can be sent to variables in either head 1 or head 2.
